Christina Theodoridi

Policy Director, Industry, Climate & Energy

Christina Theodoridi leads NRDC’s industrial policy team within the Industry and Emerging Technologies Group, developing federal and state policies to decarbonize the U.S. cement, steel, and aluminum industries. Her prior work focused on federal and state legislative and regulatory advocacy to phase down climate super-polluting refrigerants (HFCs). Since joining NRDC, she has represented the organization at the Montreal Protocol, where she also served on a global task force of experts investigating a potential breach of the treaty's requirements. Theodoridi holds a master’s in chemical engineering from her home country of Greece and a master of public administration in environmental science and policy from Columbia University. She is based in Washington, D.C.
