Daré Saliu-Ibiefo

Daré Saliu-Ibiefo joined NRDC in April 2023 as the organization's director of DEI learning. Before joining NRDC, he was the global director of talent development and learning at Hearst, where he was responsible for building the architecture and roadmap for the implementing the company's INCLUDE Certified Change Agent Program. Saliu-Ibiefo provided leadership and expertise in developing and promoting a diverse workforce that modeled inclusive behavior and communicated the value of diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace while interrupting bias through courage and leading with empathy. Prior to Hearst, Saliu-Ibiefo provided leadership in executing organizational and leadership development strategies at a health insurance company, working with company leadership through culture alignment, change management, performance management, and employee training.

Saliu-Ibiefo is a graduate of Rutgers University's School of Management and Labor Relations, with a master’s degree in human resource management. He also earned a master’s degree in management and organizational leadership, as well as a bachelor's degree in industrial relations and human resource management from the University of Lagos in Nigeria.
