Morgan Johnson

Staff Attorney, Sustainable FERC Project, Climate & Clean Energy Program

Morgan Johnson works with the Sustainable FERC Project, a coalition-based initiative housed within NRDC that promotes the transition to a clean, low-carbon, and sustainable energy future. Johnson represents the project in its gas advocacy work before FERC, DOE, and other forums. Previously, she was the staff attorney at Waterkeepers Chesapeake, an environmental NGO comprising of 17 waterkeeper programs in the Chesapeake and Coastal Bays of Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. Johnson earned her BA from Ohio State University and her JD and environmental law certificate from the University of New Mexico. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
